Funnel Cakes

1 egg
2/3 cup milk
2 Tbsp sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 cup flour
cooking oil

Pour couple of inches of cooking oil into heavy fry pan and heat slowly to 375.  While oil is heating, mix ingredients well.  When batter is creamy pour into large funnel.  Swirl about 1/2 cup of batter into heated oil.  Fry till golden brown, turning once.  Place on paper towel and blot oil off. 

Sprinkle with powdered sugar, and put what toppings on you would like.
